Comments: I ran 15 minutes easy, 20 minutes hard, then 10 minutes easy—a 45/20 tempo run. My shins started screaming about two miles in and never stopped. I think I'm going to have to start doing more easy runs on pavement or my body just won't be ready for a road half-marathon.
