Comments: I competed in an orienteering meet this evening. I did course three first, and blasted through it in 15:20. I decided that wasn't enough of a workout, so I signed up for course two. I finished in 11:35. I figure I ran about three miles between the two courses. Also, I now have blackberry bush scratches and nettle stings all over my legs.

In today's Tour stage, Savoldelli had the same kind of luck Hincapie had on Sunday. He jumped on a breakaway that stayed clear. With a monster effort he came around the CSC rider Arvesen to nip him at the finish line. It was a cleaner win than Hincapie's, however, because "Il Falco" took his turn pulling the breakaway along.
