Friday, December 2nd Resting Pulse: Not Recorded Weight: Not Recorded Course: The Wrecking Yard Distance: 4 Miles Time: 35:25 Other Exercises: Core (8 min.) Weather: Cloudy, 38° Comments: Well, it snowed last night. There was so much snow in my driveway that I couldn't drive my truck up to the street. Angie couldn't get her car up either, and it's front-wheel drive—much more suited to driving in snow. Since neither one of us could drive anywhere, neither one of us went to work. I did manage to go for a run in the afternoon. The roads outside my neighborhood were pretty clear, but the trail I run on was mostly snowed over. Alas, the parts that weren't snowy were quite muddy. It made for an interesting jog. I slipped more on the mud than I did on the snow. I saw a woman walking a husky while I was out. Have you ever noticed that huskies seem much happier and frisky in the snow? I am supposed to host a poker tournament at my place tonight, but I'm wondering if anyone will show up. Also, I'm supposed to fly to Las Vegas tomorrow, but I don't know if I'll be able to get to the airport. I guess time will tell. |
