Saturday, December 31st The Bog Slog Resting Pulse: Not Recorded Weight: Not Recorded Course: The Bog Slog Distance: 10 Miles (Approx.) Time: Not Timed Other Exercises: None Weather: Cloudy, Some Drizzle Comments: I wasn't eligible to compete in the Bog Slog since I help set the course, but I got in a pretty good workout hanging and picking up markers. I took my camera with me, and I went out on the course to get some pictures of the competitors. I took 207 photos. Most of them were crap. The light level was pretty low, and I was shooting with a long lens, so the majority of the pictures are rather blurry. I think a handful are salvageable, though. I hoped I might get some pictures of the many Ruby-crowned Kinglets I saw when I was course checking, but once I was holding my camera, none of them would come near me. |
