Weather: Cloudy, 36° Comments: I went for an easy four-miler this morning. The temperature was cold enough that there wasn't any mud, just frozen earth. It felt nice to finish a run with dry shoes. The promised snow finally came this afternoon. I left work a little bit early when I noticed the snow had started sticking to the pavement. I drive a two-wheel drive pick-up, and I have traction problems even without snow on the road. I made it home all right. There were a couple of slushy corners near my house that made me fishtail a bit, but I stayed on the road. If the slush freezes overnight, though, I don't see myself going to work. I won't be able to get up my driveway. |
