Thursday, May 25th Course: None Comments: I intended to run today, but I couldn't bring myself to go out in the rain. That's a pathetic excuse, but it's the honest truth. In cycling news, thanks to Manolo "Venga, Venga, Venga!" Saiz, Liberty Seguros has pulled the plug on their team. I'm desperate to find out what this means for Alexandre Vinokourov. If he's not able to ride at the Tour de France because he's not on a team, I'll be crushed. Moreover, if he has to play second fiddle after signing with a power house like he did at T-Mobile, the race won't be nearly as fun to watch—unless, of course, he goes crazy and attacks at random, as he's wont to do. This is a big shake-up, and it comes at a bad time. |
