The Handsome Man with Athletic Thighs
Running In Circles

Friday, September 8th
. . . a little later

From the number of phone calls I've received, and from the number of people who've rushed over to the Birth Center, I get the impression I didn't express very well how long this birth will likely take. Angie was give a dose of Cervidil, which needs twelve hours to take effect. If it doesn't work, up to three more doses may be administered, each of those taking twelve hours too. Only when the Cervidil has taken effect do the doctors induce labor. Labor itself can take many hours. This could be a sixty hour or more process.

To reward your patience, here's a picture of Angie and our unborn child eating some Mac 'n' Cheese.
