The induction process went poorly. The baby didn't respond well to the Cervidil, and the doctor decided that a regular delivery attempt would likely end in an emergency C-section. So, we had a planned (somewhat) C-section instead. At 3:30 a.m. Zachary Charles was born. He weighed in at 7lbs 10oz, and he was 20.25 inches long. Although he was born on our sixth wedding anniversary, we're happy that he arrived healthy and hale.
